Pitching actually went pretty well for the most part. I may have used up my 1 Inside-the-park HR per calendar year.

• Pitching: Good first inning but got a little out of sorts later; I believe I had more strikeouts than walks
• Fielding: I was probably a little over aggressive at times

Game 2: L 9-11

• grounded out twice
  • balls hit to 2nd and pitcher and thrown out at 1st both times
  • jammed thumb on an attempted tag out at 2nd before the 2nd at bat but somehow hit better as the game went along
• Inside-the-park HR (Normally good for 1 per calendar year [3 seasons])
• 2 RBI Double
• Opponent played with male infielders at 2nd, Short, and 3rd; Once we started pushing the ball to the outfield, we started to have better flow in the batting order.
• Rare occasion with me as #3 hitter in the order.

• Walked the first batter but settled down after that.
• Second game in a row with more strikeouts than walks.
• Fielding was better by me. At least from the standpoint of making sure I was in the right spot when the ball was hit into the outfield and securing the ball to get a force out at 1st on grounders.
• Jammed my thumb on attempted tag out at 2nd.
• After not getting a force out at 1st during the first game (we did have 1 for a runner advancing to 2nd), we had several force outs at 1st in this game.
